Visual Design.
We’ll assemble the visual landscape of your new space, coordinating with other project designers (architects, interior designers, audio integrators). We work through rigging capabilities, technical power, dimming infrastructure, lighting plots, moving rigs, conventional washes and all-important house light systems. We’ll calculate beam and field to determine the correct lighting fixture for each task; we’ll talk with you about company switches, lighting consoles and DMX networks. Through our collaboration with you and the project designers, we’ll develop a visual signature for the space.
We communicate this information through detailed drawings, schedules and specification books. Take a look at some samples of our detailed documentation here.
Concerned about budget? Infrastructure is the most important, and ironically can be the least expensive portion of a lighting and visual system. We like to design for your dream, build an infrastructure to match, then adjust final equipment to match the budget. Adding more lighting fixtures down the road is easy, but installing new conduit runs or 200amps of power isn’t.
